The Car

This is an iconic car. The Boss 429 Mustang model is part of the Ford muscle car/Pony car class distinguished by its powerful 7.0-liter Cobra Jet V8 engine and two-door coupe style. It also has a distinct design as it boasts a shaker hood scoop and bold body lines. The Ford Mustang 429 delivers exceptional performance, making it a force on the road.

The Collector

This model was the first to debut the new Ford 385 engine family as a 429 cubic-inch V8 also used in NASCAR racing. It also had limited production as Ford perfected the design. This engine’s exceptional power and durability made it a remarkable competitor on the NASCAR circuit, contributing to Ford’s success in motorsport during that era.

The Love

Nicknamed the “The Boss 429,” I have always loved this model for its name (as well as the layout of the vehicle). The Boss designation highlighted the engine’s dominance and performance abilities. It makes a connection between the car’s high performance and its status as standout model in Ford’s lineup.
